Kevin Donald Warren Beard (born November 17, 1984 in Trenton, New Jersey) is an American Football player formerly of the University of Miami.
Beard attended Plantation High School in Plantation, Florida[1] and was a student and a standout in football and basketball. In football, as a junior, he made 50 receptions for 850 yards (17.00 yards per reception avg.) and 15 touchdowns. As a senior, he was a first team All-Broward County selection, a second team All-State selection, and was named by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel as a Broward County co-Offensive Player of the Year. In basketball, as a senior, he was a second team All-State selection. Kevin Beard graduated from Plantation High School in 1999. He now is the Wide Receivers coach at the University School in Davie, Florida. Which made it to the 2B state championship's this year With his High School Quarter Back Ryan Schneider(Considered the greatest offensive coordinator in high school football history), who went to the University of Central Florida
Beard attended The University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida An injury, set him back from being the go to guy on the canes. in 2003, Beard was known for his explosiveness and great hands.

2002 (JUNIOR): Ranked fourth on the team with 23 receptions for 262 yards (11.4 ypc) and four touchdown catches... suffered a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee against Pittsburgh, ending his 2002 season... had one catch for seven yards against Tennessee... caught three passes for 27 yards against Rutgers, including a 17-yard reception... made two receptions for 47 yards, including a 25-yard reception... recorded four receptions for 60 yards, including a two-yard touchdown reception against Florida State... the scoring catch against FSU began Miami's dramatic fourth quarter comeback... had five receptions for 51 yards, including two touchdowns against Connecticut... recorded one reception for four yards in the win over Boston College... had 6 catches for 67 yards, including a 32-yarder, and a touchdown against Temple... started at flanker against Florida A&M and Florida, but did not make a catch.
